DIFC Confirms the First Dubai Future Finance Week on 2-6 November 2026: More Than 850 Speakers, 85 Events, 12 Forums and 14 Stages, Anchored by the Dubai FinTech Summit

2026-09-08

On 8 September 2026 the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) confirmed the programme of the inaugural Dubai Future Finance Week, which will run from 2 to 6 November 2026 across Dubai. The Week brings together more than 850 confirmed speakers in a coordinated programme of more than 85 events, including 12 signature forums on 14 stages around the city. It is held under the theme “Finance Reimagined: Where Innovation Meets Policy and Purpose” and is built around six verticals: FinTech, tokenisation, Islamic finance, family wealth, sustainable finance and private capital. The anchor event is the fourth Dubai FinTech Summit on 2 and 3 November at Madinat Jumeirah, with Nicolas Moreau of HSBC Asset Management, Noel Quinn of Julius Baer, Dr Shanu S.P. Hinduja of S.P. Hinduja Banque Privée and Fatih Karahan, Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye, among the headline speakers. The Week was originally scheduled for 11 to 15 May 2026 and was moved to November. Below is the day-by-day programme, the numbers behind the Dubai FinTech Summit, the DIFC figures that sit behind the event and what the Week means for a company that is planning to be in Dubai in November.

What DIFC announced on 8 September 2026

The programme was released by DIFC on 8 September 2026 and carried the same day by the Government of Dubai Media Office, Gulf News, Khaleej Times and Emirates 24|7. Dubai Future Finance Week is organised under the directives and patronage of Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of the UAE and President of DIFC. The Centre frames the Week as a contribution to the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, which sets the goal of placing Dubai among the world’s top four global financial centres. The release listed the following points:

  • Dates: 2 to 6 November 2026, the first edition of the Week.
  • Scale: more than 850 speakers already confirmed, more than 85 high-level events, 12 signature forums and 14 stages around Dubai.
  • Theme: “Finance Reimagined: Where Innovation Meets Policy and Purpose”.
  • Six verticals: FinTech, tokenisation, Islamic finance, family wealth, sustainable finance and private capital.
  • Anchor event: the Dubai FinTech Summit on 2 and 3 November, where banking, capital markets and FinTech leaders meet.
  • Headline speakers named so far: Nicolas Moreau, Chief Executive Officer of HSBC Asset Management; Noel Quinn, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Julius Baer; Dr Shanu S.P. Hinduja, Chair of S.P. Hinduja Banque Privée; and Fatih Karahan, Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye.
  • Specialised forums on sustainable finance, private capital, Islamic finance, tokenisation and institutional wealth management from 2 to 5 November.

“The global financial ecosystem is undergoing a structural evolution, and Dubai is shaping its next chapter through Dubai Future Finance Week,” said Essa Kazim, Governor of DIFC. “By bringing together the world’s most influential financial decision-makers to align policy with progress, this event unites the entire financial spectrum under a single, cohesive platform to drive the ambitions of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33.”

Arif Amiri, Chief Executive Officer of DIFC Authority, added: “DIFC has built the region’s most advanced financial ecosystem, and Dubai Future Finance Week is an extension of that network. From the expanded scale of the Dubai FinTech Summit to specialised forums for digital assets and family wealth, we are providing the physical and intellectual infrastructure to reimagine and build the future of finance with resilience and sustainability.”

The Emirates 24|7 report, translated from the Arabic release, refers to the event as “Dubai Financial Week”. The official English name used by DIFC, the Dubai Media Office and the summit’s own website is Dubai Future Finance Week, and that is the name used in this article.

The programme day by day

The DIFC release itemises the forums from 2 to 5 November; the Week formally runs to 6 November. Venues for the individual forums were not listed in the release, with the exception of the Dubai FinTech Summit, which the official summit website places at Madinat Jumeirah.

Read as a sequence, the Week moves from sustainable finance and the FinTech Summit at the start, through private capital and banking awards on 3 November, to Islamic finance and private credit on 4 November, and closes its itemised programme on 5 November with family wealth, institutional investment and tokenisation. For a delegate with a narrow interest, that means one or two days rather than five.

From May to November: how the Week was planned

The Week was first announced at the third Dubai FinTech Summit on 12 May 2025, when DIFC said the format would debut in 2026 and would gather the Centre’s financial events under one umbrella, with an expected attendance of about 40,000 people across the week. On 13 January 2026 the Government of Dubai Media Office published the first dates: 11 to 15 May 2026, under the same theme “Finance Reimagined”, with the Dubai FinTech Summit returning to Madinat Jumeirah in an expanded format and a programme that included Seamless FinTech Middle East, the Reg3 Forum, the DIFC Family Wealth Centre Summit, the Future Sustainability Forum, the Islamic Finance Forum, the MENA Banking Excellence Awards, the Solana Economic Zone, IPEM Future Dubai and the annual meeting of the Dubai Future District Fund.

The Dubai FinTech Summit 2026 was later rescheduled to 2 and 3 November 2026. In the organisers’ statement, carried by industry publications, the decision was “taken proactively to ensure the best possible experience for the global community of speakers, partners and delegates”, and delegates who had already registered had their passes reallocated to the new dates automatically, with no further action required. The 8 September release is the first full programme for the November dates. Compared with the January line-up, it adds named forums such as the Future Tokenisation Forum, the Deal Catalyst Fixed Income Alternatives Conference, GAIP InsureTek Dubai, the Investment Leaders Exchange and the Capital Exchange CIO Investment Leadership Programme, and it fixes the headline numbers at more than 850 speakers, 85 events, 12 forums and 14 stages.

The Dubai FinTech Summit in numbers

The summit is the part of the Week with a track record, and the official figures show how the format has grown:

  • Second edition, May 2024: more than 8,000 participants from 118 countries, more than 300 speakers in 125 sessions on five stages, more than 200 exhibitors and more than 50 memoranda of understanding signed.
  • Third edition, 12 and 13 May 2025: more than 9,000 participants from 120 countries, more than 1,000 investors, more than 300 speakers and 200 exhibitors, according to the Dubai Media Office. DIFC used the summit to publish its first “The Future of Finance” report on AI and FinTech and noted that DIFC-based start-ups had raised more than USD 4 billion (AED 14.7 billion) in funding.
  • Fourth edition, 2 and 3 November 2026: the official summit website targets 10,000 business leaders, 1,000 investors, 300 speakers, 120 countries and 200 exhibitors and partners. The January 2026 announcement had spoken of more than 10,000 delegates from over 150 countries, more than 250 sponsors and over 25 industry verticals, plus a dedicated Investors’ Lounge and Deal Hub and new country pavilions.

The summit’s theme is “Connecting Markets, Transforming Economies”. Alongside the four headline speakers named in the DIFC release, the summit website lists senior executives from Franklin Templeton and Nomura Holdings and several central bank governors among its speakers.

The DIFC that hosts the Week

The Week is an extension of a centre that reported record numbers two months ago. In its results for the first half of 2026, published on 28 July 2026, DIFC counted 10,018 active registered companies, up 30% in a year, including 1,134 regulated financial firms, 327 banks and capital markets firms, 165 insurance and reinsurance entities and 592 wealth and asset management firms. The fastest-growing segments match the Week’s six verticals: 1,933 AI, FinTech and innovation companies (up 39%), 1,408 family-related entities (up 36%) and 1,409 foundations (up 67%). DIFC ranks seventh in the Global Financial Centres Index and first across the Middle East, Africa and South Asia. We covered the figures in our article on DIFC passing 10,000 active companies.

The weeks before the announcement brought further arrivals and launches in the Centre: the Korean group Mirae Asset opened a DIFC office under a DFSA Category 3C licence (details here), Standard Chartered launched institutional bitcoin and ether spot trading in the UAE through DIFC (our report), and Dubai tokenised the world’s largest silver bar under the DMCC and VARA frameworks (read more). The tokenisation, Islamic finance and family wealth forums sit on top of national strategies we have written about: the UAE Islamic finance strategy that targets AED 2.56 trillion in Islamic assets by 2031 (summary) and the expected handover of USD 1 trillion (AED 3.67 trillion) of Gulf family business assets to the next generation within a decade (analysis).

What the Week means for a business in the UAE

For a company that is already in the UAE or is planning to enter, the practical value of the Week is concentrated in four places.

  • Founders and scale-ups in payments, lending, wealth technology and digital assets. The Dubai FinTech Summit on 2 and 3 November is where DIFC’s Innovation Hub, investors and regulators appear in one venue. If you intend to raise capital or to apply for a licence in DIFC, it helps to arrive with a company profile, a clear regulatory position and, ideally, a registered entity. Registration of a company and authorisation by the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) are two separate processes, and the second takes longer; see our guide to company setup in the UAE for the steps that come first.
  • Family businesses and family offices. The Dubai Family Wealth Summit on 5 November addresses succession, governance and long-term allocation, which is exactly where DIFC’s family-related entities and foundations have been growing fastest. DIFC’s Prescribed Company regime, opened to every applicant in 2026, is a common holding tool in that segment (our explainer).
  • Investors and asset managers. IPEM Future 2026 on 3 November, the Deal Catalyst conference on private and structured credit on 4 November and the Investment Leaders Exchange on 5 November are allocator-facing formats. Firms that manage money from the UAE need a regulated entity and a corporate bank account, and the account is often the slower of the two; our page on bank account opening in the UAE explains what banks ask for.
  • Delegates coming from abroad. An event pass does not replace an entry visa. Check your visa position for the UAE well before November, book accommodation early because the Week coincides with Dubai’s high season, and plan the trip together with Abu Dhabi Finance Week on 7 to 10 December 2026, which follows five weeks later in ADGM. Staff who will be based in the UAE for longer than a visit need work visas and residency, which are sponsored by a UAE entity.

Two further points are worth stating plainly. The forums are business-to-business formats: they are useful for meetings, partner search and understanding the regulator’s direction, not for retail investment decisions. And the programme is still being filled: DIFC says that more than 850 speakers are “already confirmed”, so agendas and speaker lists will keep changing until November, and the official websites of the Week and the summit are the sources to watch. Dubai’s autumn calendar is dense; we listed the September exhibitions and forums in a separate overview.

Checklist for a company planning to attend

  • Pick the days that match your business: 2 and 3 November for FinTech, payments and banking; 3 November for private capital; 4 November for Islamic finance and private credit; 5 November for family wealth, institutional investment and tokenisation.
  • Register for the Dubai FinTech Summit through the official summit website; passes bought for the May dates were transferred to November automatically.
  • Prepare a one-page company profile and, if you are looking for investors, a short pitch; the January programme for the summit included an Investors’ Lounge and Deal Hub.
  • If you plan to operate from DIFC, start the entity and licensing work now: company registration comes first, DFSA authorisation for regulated activities is a separate and longer process.
  • Open or confirm a corporate bank account before you sign with partners you meet at the Week.
  • Check visas, flights and hotels for 2 to 6 November, and put Abu Dhabi Finance Week on 7 to 10 December in the same travel plan.

How Atlant Capital can help

Atlant Capital registers companies on the mainland and in the UAE free zones, including structures for holding, investment and technology businesses, and takes clients through the choice of jurisdiction, licence and activity list. We arrange work permits and residence visas for owners, employees and dependants, Golden Visas for investors and specialists with their families, and personal and corporate bank accounts. Accounting, audit and tax filings are handled by licensed accounting firms from our partner network. If Dubai Future Finance Week is the reason you are looking at the UAE, we can prepare the corporate side so that the meetings you hold in November lead to contracts rather than to paperwork. Contact us to discuss your plan.

Conclusion

DIFC has turned a summit into a week: from 2 to 6 November 2026 Dubai will host more than 850 speakers at more than 85 events, 12 signature forums and 14 stages under the theme “Finance Reimagined”, with the fourth Dubai FinTech Summit as the anchor on 2 and 3 November at Madinat Jumeirah. The dates moved from May to November, the programme grew in the process, and the Centre behind it has just passed 10,000 active companies. For a business in the UAE the Week is a fixed date to plan around: choose the day, register early, and have the corporate structure ready before the conversations start.
