Company registration in the UAE

We register companies for a specific business purpose: we select the jurisdiction and the activity, assemble the file, pass the approvals and see the process through to the licence. The reference part (requirements, steps and documents) is collected in a separate company formation guide; this page is about what we do.

Who this service is for

  • entrepreneurs launching a new business in the UAE;
  • companies that need an operating or holding structure;
  • owners who need a structure for banking, visas and work with partners;
  • anyone whose activity requires an industry approval and for whom a wrong choice of jurisdiction is costly.

What the work includes

  • analysis of the task: what you sell, to whom, and where your clients and money are;
  • choice of jurisdiction, mainland or a specific free zone, based on the activity rather than on a package;
  • a check that the required activity is available and whether it needs an industry approval;
  • selection and reservation of the trade name under the rules of the chosen jurisdiction;
  • preparation and submission of the application, initial approval;
  • constitutional documents and, where applicable, the agreement with a local service agent;
  • premises: a workstation, office or warehouse matching the chosen visa quota;
  • support with payment of the fees and communication with the jurisdiction until the licence is issued;
  • handover of the licence and the corporate package with an explanation of the next steps.

What we need from you

  • passports of the shareholders and managers, valid for at least 6 months;
  • company name options;
  • a description of the activity and the business model;
  • address, contacts and basic corporate details;
  • if a foreign legal entity is among the shareholders, its constitutional documents: we start their legalisation first, as it is the longest stretch of the schedule.

How the work goes

  1. We clarify the business goal and the restrictions on the activity.
  2. We compare suitable options on the mainland and in free zones and show the difference in visa quota, premises and renewal.
  3. We prepare the document package and the application and reserve the name.
  4. We obtain the initial approval and the industry approvals, if they are required.
  5. We support payment of the fees and communication with the jurisdiction.
  6. We hand over the licence and explain what comes next: Establishment Card, visas, bank account, tax registration.

What shapes the route

  • the type of activity: it defines both the legal form and the type of licence;
  • the shareholders: individuals only, or a foreign company among them;
  • whether you need direct access to government contracts and the domestic market;
  • how many visas you will need within the next year;
  • whether an industry approval is required: it surfaces in the middle of the process if not checked in advance;
  • the budget for renewal, not only for the setup.

Result

A registered company, the corporate package in your hands and a clear plan of action after the licence is issued, without surprises such as a forgotten approval or a quota too small for your visa plan.

Questions about working with us

Can a company be opened remotely?

In many jurisdictions most of the process can be completed remotely. The requirements depend on the zone, the activity and the shareholders, so we check this before the start rather than along the way.

Do you choose the jurisdiction for the client?

We show the difference in activity, visa quota, premises, market access and renewal cost, and the decision stays with the owner. There is no point in pushing a particular zone: it has to suit the business.

How long does registration take?

The timing depends on the jurisdiction, the activity, document checks and external approvals. We agree a realistic scenario in advance, including the longest stretch: legalisation of a foreign shareholder’s documents.

Do you help after registration?

Yes: bank account, visas for the owner and employees, document legalisation and operational matters, as well as accounting, audit and AML compliance.

How much does the service cost?

We quote the fee after we have reviewed the situation and compiled the list of documents: before that, any figure would be a guess. Government fees are calculated separately from our work and shown as they are.

Can we work remotely?

The review of the situation, preparation of the file and correspondence are handled remotely. Some steps require personal presence or original documents, and we say so at the start, not in the middle of the process.

In which language is the work done?

In English and Russian. Documents and correspondence with authorities and banks are handled in the language the receiving party requires.
